Research Methodology and Medical Statistics

It is our pleasure to present and publish our book on 'Research Methodology and Medical Statistics'. This subject will be applied to 4" Year B.A.M.S, Course with effect from tune 2016 ff4-06 It is attempted to display in simple most language since the book is meant for introducing the learner to the various terms regarding subject of research and statistics in context to Modern and Ayurveda Medical Science.

It is indeed my pleasure and privilege to pen my foreword for Dr.Nadhini Dhargalkar's book on 'Research Methodology and Medical Statistics".

I am familiar with Dr.Nadhini Dhargalkar's research interests that address a variety of topics ranging from Pedagogy (the art and science of teaching) to Andragogy (the art and science of helping adults learn). Indeed, this book provides cutting-edge research for both faculty and graduate students from across the discipline of Ayurveda. Providing and applying valid evidence to improve the existing practice must be a hallmark of every Ayurveda health professional. I am pleased to recommend this book to the students of Ayurveda as the of the book will equip them to understand and apply the principles in their practice. I read the table of contents prepared by Dr.Nadhini Dhargalkar, I kit honored to write the foreword to share with our readers about the importance of this book. I sincerely commend her ability to publish refereed chapters, essentials of Research Methodologies and Statistics with honest expression and serious purpose.

What strikes me as equally important is the uniqueness of title chosen by Dr.Nadhini Dhargalkar as we do not have enough books on research methods for students of Ayurveda since then Central Council of Indian Medicine introduced this subject as a part of curriculum.

This is undergraduate book. The subject is meant for introducing the learners to get accustomed with the terms and language of 'Re-search Methodology' and 'Statistics' in Medicine of Ayurveda Faculty. The book is written with simple language, offering meanings of the introductory terms along with necessary information a learner may essentially know.
