Book Description

About the Author
Paramahamsa Tewari (born 1937), an engineer and scientist, is presently holding the position of the Executive Director (Projects) in Nuclear Power Corporation. He is well known internationally in scientific circles for his very basic research on the nature' of space, energy and matter, pinpointing the medium of space to be the fundamental substratum of reality that produces the cosmic matter. He has lectured at international 'conferences in USA and Europe spearheading the new scientific movement that spatial reality can also be commercially harnessed to produce energy.

During almost three decades of scientific analysis ·by him and consequent realization that the universe has only one entity (space) of basic reality, he was confronted with the spiritual phenomena of consciousness and God, as to how they fit-in in the overall scheme of nature. The aakaash of the Upanishads, as a dynamic universal substratum, produces the cosmic worlds, that are permeated with different potentials of consciousness derived from aakaash itself; and it is the integrated whole that is the Phenomenon of God.

The essays in this book were written by him during the period of the development of his scientific theory when he underwent spiritual experiences too.

Preface
What is the reality of the universe? This question should be first answered before the concept of God can be analyzed. Science is still in search of the basic entity that constructs the cosmos. God, therefore, would be a system too complex for science to discover. Unless, the basic reality of aakaash (space) is recognized, neither science nor spirituality can have the grasp of the Creator, Sustainer and the Destroyer of this gigantic Phenomenon that the Vedas named as Brahman.
