He is credited with designing edifices including the Hall of Nations, the Asian Games Village, the library of the Indian Parliament in Delhi, India, and the Ismaili Centre in Lisbon, Portugal. He is the recipient of many awards including the gold medal given by the Indian Institute of Architects, the Robert Matthew Award by the Commonwealth Institute of Architects, and the Chevalier des Art des Letters and Chevalier de l'Ordre National de la Legion d’Honneur by the French government. Rewal's works have been exhibited in Parma, Italy, and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
