About the Author
Neelum Saran Gour is a professor of English literature at Allahabad University and a well known writer. She has authored eight works of fiction and edited a pictorial volume on the history and culture of the city of Allahabad. Her critical writings and short fiction have been included in various anthologies. She has been a humour columnist for the Allahabad page of the Hindustan Times and a book reviewer for The Indian Review of Books and The Times Literary Supplement, UK.
