About the Author

Surendra Verma (b.1941) did his Masters in Linguistics. He has published over 15 plays, stories and novels. Recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award for Muhje Chand chaiye as well as the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Drama, he is also the author of Surya Ki Paheli Kiran Tak, Quid-e Hayat, Shakuntala Ki Anguthi, Aathvan Sarg, Neend Kyon Raat Bhar Nahi Aati, Rati Ka Kangan (Plays), and Katna Shami Ka Vriksha Padmapankhuri Ki Dhar Se, Do Mardonke Lie Guldasta and Andhere Se Pare (Novels).

Pramila Grag is a former professor of English from Daulat Ram College, Delhi University, With a teaching career of more than 40 years, she has also published a book The Indian Freedom Movement in Indian Fiction. Currently, she teaches communication skills at Auburn University.
