Preface

I had a pleasant experience to go through the stories and the accompanying screenplays, which the author has included in his book to illustrate the skills required for script writing.

With the continued explosion in the number of TV channels in India, the demand for creative multimedia content has increased manifold and this has, inter alia, necessitated large volumes of script writing work.

I hope, the book ‘How to write films screenplays’ would inspire numerous persons and provided to them practical ‘self-help’ guidelines for acquiring the skills required to become successful screenplay writer.

Mr. Nirmal Kumar Chawdhary is my colleague and I congratulate him for his brilliant effort. I wish him grand success for his future endeavours of creative writing.
