Preface
It narrates the story of a place as well as of the inhabitants of the place. That which is referred to as a place is but one, but not all places are one and the same. So also, people, though resembling each other at a glance, are not so in fact. This is the significance of a place. This is the natural essence of people at large.

The words and deeds of people born and brought up in one place and migrated to another in search of livelihood and settle there, lend meaning and identity to human beings. Just the way Man's life holds our interest of human life in the tales told, it also includes in its fold tales untold.

No norms or grammar attributed to the literary genre called 'novel' are in fact adhered to or relied upon. Every novel keeps redefining that which is called the grammar of novel writing. Some write with the full knowledge of this truth. Many write, being unaware of it. This is the history of what we call novel.

If there are a hundred persons there is room for writing a thousand stories about them. Because, men are not just one and the same. They are a multitude. Apparently they look identical but within, they vary widely. This is substantiated by our words and deeds.
