Book Description

Foreword
My humble pranamas to Shri.Bhagat Singh Koshiyari Sir, The Hon'ble Chancellor of KKSU and Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra!

These words fill us with so many mixed feelings. So many cuds of memories to reminisce! I deem it my high privilege to have been a direct witness of all the days of struggle and success of KKSU. We, of KKSU, have grown along with this great institute and have created a satisfactory recognition along with this historical institution through these years.

On this sacred occasion of "Silver Jubilee" celebration of KKSU in the year 2022, I remember with utmost respect and would like to put on record the unforgettable contribution of great leaders who have created a magic in the form of this Sanskrit University in the state of Maharashtra.

Preface
It means to take birth in Bharat, i.e., India is very difficult. In Bharat, to take birth as a human being is more difficult. This is emphasising the greatness of Mother Bharat and being Bharatvasi. Mother Bharat is known as Karma Bhumi, which means the place where the people do rituals and personal day to day things as prescribed by Vedas, which leads the man to his ultimate goal Moksha or Atamagnan or Brahmagnan. Oriental thinking of the individual and nature is inclusive and deals with the concept of both are part and parcel of a whole, the Brahman. This oriental wholistic approach is the result of Vedic Philosophy. Occidental intellectuals deals the man as Monarch by nature, who is able to subjugate all other components of nature of his requirements. Oriental thinking of Vedic Philosophy recommends people to lead an abstemious life, instead a life with ostentation. Because Vedic Philosophy advises the person to live for a hundred years with health and wealth. Human life is superior to all other living beings according to Sanskrit verses.

It means to get a birth as a human being is the greatest achievement than being born in any other form or living beings. Occidental sciences also endorse this because of the complexity of the human metabolism. But oriental approach affirms it because the human being is equipped with mind, intellect and Wisdom. With the wisdom, he descrminate the things and can make his life more fruitful and joyful. Human beings have got an opportunity to follow Vedic proceedings and Karmas to get enlightenment of the soul. Hence, Vedic Philosophy gives utmost importance to the Aayu, the span of life.
