Towards Godhead For A While- An Inward Journey

Preface Shri Kasturi Jayaraman's English adaptation of the Tamil book on Amarakavi Siddeswara by Shri Prabhodaran Sukumar is meticulous and enlightening. The cover of the book illustrates the journey of the Atman depicting the universe, the sunlight bright in the centre and its orbit, the vast blue sky and the white dove ascending towards the Infinite. With the translation by Shri Jayaraman, the yogic force described in the book becomes accessible to the reader. The wisdom and depth of this magnificent work will now reach devotees of Brahma Gnani Amarakavi living everywhere in the world.

One of the senior sadhaks of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, M.P. Pandit had written:

"Amarakavi bridges in himself the gap between Science and Spirituality, the Seers of the Upanishad and the rational thinkers of the twentieth century. Heaven and Earth, he points out, are to be fused in the conscious of man. And towards that purpose Nature has provided the linkage of Prana, life force, in whose manipulation lies the key to change of consciousness".
