Book Description

About the Book

"At the core of yoga is a philosophy, which converts to psychology to provide an understanding and management of the individual's responses to the interaction of the senses, the states of mind, situations and conditions. Once this cleaning of the mind has taken place, one enters the third level of yoga, which is applied yoga. Once yoga is applied in one's life, and becomes part of one's culture, then one begins to live according to the laws of nature. That is the principle of yoga ecology. This is the journey of yoga."

The Yogadrishti (Yogavision) series of satsangs consists of discourses given by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati in Munger as part of the new phase of sannyasa life that he has embarked upon since 2009. The theme of the satsangs Swamiji gave in May 20 13 at Ganga Darshan Vishwa Yogapeeth was the journey of yoga in an individual's life. from being a philosophy to becoming an experience. Swamiji described the essential principles of yoga and how its practices transform the mind through the process of yoga psychology, enabling application at various levels to improve the quality of life and eventually becoming a lifestyle in harmony with nature and divinity. The vision of yoga in these classical teachings forms the basis of the four departments of Bihar Yoga Bharati: Yoga Philosophy.Yoga Psychology. Applied Yoga. and Yoga Ecology.
